Partnership Dispute Lawyer Denver, CO
Partnership disputes can be emotionally charged; when you begin an enterprise with your partners, you don’t usually anticipate initiating legal proceedings to resolve differences of opinion. However, a breach of contract, one partner misappropriating or comingling funds, or a disagreement over the direction the business should take can grind your once-thriving business operations to a halt. When you need to know your legal options for resolving the disagreement, talk to our Denver partnership dispute lawyer.
We review the nature of the dispute, then advise you of the legal options open to resolve it. We may recommend mediation to help each partner see the other side’s viewpoint and find common ground to achieve a compromise. However, if one partner’s actions have left the entire enterprise open to legal risk, we swiftly take action to protect you. Mismanagement of company funds, commingling of one partner’s personal funds with the company’s, or misappropriation or embezzlement are all areas of disputes that may require legal action.
We protect your interests and investment, striving to save you money and time. Our firm is committed to preserving your business reputation and brand; part of our comprehensive business dispute resolution services includes advice on reputation management during a crisis (like a partnership dispute).
Sometimes, a partner buyout is the most effective way to resolve irreconcilable differences of opinion. We also represent you in these matters, properly valuing each partner’s share of the business and negotiating a fair purchase amount so you can continue growing your business in the manner you see fit. We protect your rights, respect your investment, and preserve everything you’ve worked hard to achieve.

Collaborate with forensic accountants to properly value the company’s assets and debts to prepare for a buyout or partnership dissolution. Negotiate buyout terms (if no contract is present), draft the contract, and ensure the division of assets proceeds smoothly, without interrupting business operations.
Non-Compete and Restrictive Covenant Disputes
Negotiate non-compete and non-disclosure agreements and draft appropriate contracts. Enforce NDAs and other contracts if one partner leaves the enterprise to join a competitor.
