Commercial Contract Lawyer Colorado Springs, CO
Commercial contracts keep your business functioning smoothly and clearly define all business relationships. Our attorneys ensure that every contract you sign is favorable to your needs and contains protective language in the event of a dispute or breach. We negotiate optimal terms and review all contracts presented to you. If a contract is vague, unfavorably worded, or lacks provisions for disputes or termination, we can renegotiate or revise it for you.
Our Colorado Springs commercial contract lawyer also handles breach-of-contract disputes and non-fulfillment matters. We begin by investigating the reasons for the breach. Next, if you prefer to preserve the business relationship, we seek a compromise or to renegotiate contract terms. If maintaining the relationship is not in your best business interests or you are owed substantial damages, we will initiate legal action to address the breach and pursue the compensation owed to you.
Ideally, we resolve the contract dispute amicably with minimal impact on your business operations. Trust our team to handle all your legal needs for this matter, so you can focus on keeping your business running smoothly and maintaining your professional relationships and reputation. Types of Commercial Contract Cases We Handle

Breach of Contract Disputes
We represent businesses in disputes involving alleged breaches of commercial contracts. Our firm enforces contractual rights and seeks a practical remedy in disputes arising from failures to perform, service agreements, supply contracts, and professional services agreements.
Contract Interpretation and Enforcement
Unclear and ambiguous contract terms create disputes over the interpretation of terms. Many of these conflicts can be resolved through mediation and a redrafting of the contract. Our attorneys can redraft the contract in question or seek legal enforcement of its terms.
Vendor, Supplier, and Distribution Agreements
Good vendor and supplier contracts ensure your business remains profitable. Our Colorado Springs commercial contract lawyer can negotiate and draft contracts on your behalf and renegotiate your existing contracts for more favorable terms. We also address non-compliance issues, including performance failures, pricing disagreements, and termination issues.
Commercial Lease and Real Estate Contracts
Our firm represents both landlords and tenants in lease negotiations, contract drafting, and contractual disputes. Because we work for both sides in these issues, we can effectively resolve common problems such as rent disputes, maintenance obligations, defaults, and lease terminations.
Non-Compete and Restrictive Covenant Disputes
Protecting your proprietary information, from trade secrets to client lists, is essential to help you maintain your competitive edge. We draft the agreements necessary to protect sensitive business information and resolve disputes that may occur, including those involving non-compete, non-solicitation, and confidentiality provisions contained in commercial agreements.
Construction and Development Contract Disputes
Construction contracts require specific elements that other types of commercial contracts do not. As experienced construction attorneys, we ensure that your contacts cover every eventuality, are complaint with current state laws, and are favorable to you. We also represent clients in common construction contract disputes, including delays, change orders, payment issues, and scope-of-work disagreements.
Termination, Renewal, and Exit Disputes
If you need to terminate a contract earlier than the end date, we can negotiate an exit that minimizes early termination penalties. If the termination is necessary due to failure to perform or fulfill, we may pursue legal action on your behalf. We also negotiate favorable renewal rights on your behalf.
Good contracts clearly define each party’s obligations, responsibilities, and payment. They also contain disputes resolution procedures and conditions under which the contract may be legally voided. Our Colorado Springs commercial contract lawyer drafts meticulous agreements that protect your interests and investment, contain favorable terms, and clearly account for every eventuality.
