Broomfield Construction Dispute Lawyer

construction dispute lawyer Broomfield, CO

In large-scale construction projects, it’s usually a question of when, not if, a dispute will arise. Unclear contracts, zoning or land-use issues, or delays and overruns can quickly cause problems that often require legal intervention to resolve. Our Broomfield, CO construction dispute lawyer can help you resolve the matter, ideally without going to trial. We seek redress of your grievances, including seeking damages as appropriate. We also advise you of your legal options and advocate for your best interests in the matter. Contact Volpe Law LLC for a confidential strategy session.

Construction Dispute Lawyer Broomfield, CO

Construction projects have tight timelines for completion, especially those with multiple phases, subcontractors, and a lot of moving parts. Even the smallest dispute or disagreement can cause costly delays. When one party fails to perform their contracted responsibilities, or is responsible for delays of cost overruns, it can have a domino effect on the rest of the project. Tens, sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars are on the line, and investors and developers like you don’t have time for delays.

Our Broomfield construction dispute lawyer can help you swiftly resolve the dispute by seeking compromise and alternative solutions rather than litigation. In some cases, we may be able to renegotiate the contract to overcome the hurdle and get your project back on track. We strive for solutions that preserve your business relationships. We take a common-sense approach to resolving the dispute by reviewing contracts, performance agreements, and any other communications between you and the other party. Often, negotiations or mediation can help clarify matters and get you back to work.

Other construction disputes are more serious and may require litigation to resolve. Repeated change orders that cost you money, poor performance that threatens the safety of the structure, or a land use or zoning change that needs a court order to alter may all require legal action. We initiate the right action, including filing a suit against the other party. Our legal team builds a strong case for your position and values the full extent of your losses (including reputational damage). If you are owed damages, we fight for every penny you’re due.

Our Legal Experience Makes the Difference for Your Construction Dispute
