Arbitration Lawyer Broomfield, CO
Arbitration is a common dispute resolution procedure used for commercial matters, and often, it is required by a contract that disputing parties have signed. From real estate disputes to home warranty issues or partnership disputes, arbitration is often used in lieu of litigation. As an out-of-court dispute resolution method, it’s usually swifter and more cost-effective than going to trial. And, the entire proceeding can be kept confidential; litigation rarely is. In fact, anything filed in civil court, including the initial complaint and any evidence or testimony submitted, is rarely. It’s usually a matter of public record, visible to any curious party.
Our Broomfield arbitration lawyer represents your interests in arbitration. Each party in the dispute presents its case (and evidence and testimony) to the arbitrator, who decides the matter. Their decision may be legally binding if both parties agree to it or if it’s stipulated in the contract they sign. Other times, it may not be, but the decision of the arbitrator and the evidence each side presents in the hearing may make one party more amenable to compromise, when they hadn’t been before.
We assess the strength of your position, then investigate the entire matter to gather evidence supporting it. If your position is weak, we may advocate a settlement you can live with, so you get something, even if it’s not what you wanted. If your position is strong, we vigorously pursue everything you’re entitled to. We make sure that each deadline in the process is met, all required documents are submitted correct and on time, and represent you in the arbitration hearing. Trust us to advocate for you in the dispute, so you can concentrate your energies on preserving your business and financial concerns.
