SENIOR ATTORNEY
David is a Senior Attorney for the firm. His practice at Volpe Law focuses on business and commercial litigation, tort litigation, real estate litigation, contracts, and business entity formation. His prior legal experience involves serving both businesses and individuals in a variety of matters, including civil litigation, business formation, employment, intellectual property, contract, business partnership disputes, tort, government contracting, subcontracting, False Claims Act, and appellate matters.
David is passionate about helping businesses and individuals navigate complex issues at the intersection of law and business. As an MBA holder, David also brings a “business mindset” to every matter. In litigation, this business mindset means developing a realistic outlook on the monetary value of the case early to help inform both legal strategy and the client’s personal expectations moving forward. In transactional counseling, David’s business mindset translates into helping anticipate and mitigate legal risks that might otherwise cost the client significant expense down the road. David’s philosophy is that practicing with integrity and professionalism creates the best results for clients.
Prior to working in private practice, David clerked for the Honorable Kenneth M. Laff in Denver District Court.
While in law school, David interned for both The Honorable Ross B.H. Buchanan at Denver District Court and a local law firm. In these experiences, David researched complex commercial issues involving construction defect litigation, real estate, liens, and business formation.
David holds a Juris Doctor from University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, graduating in the top 14% of his class. David also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and Economics.
