Legal Assistant

Samuel Banick is an Eagle Scout whose early leadership experience laid the foundation for a career dedicated to service, strategy, and problem-solving. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Northern Colorado, where he honed his analytical and communication skills, engaging deeply with public policy and governance issues.

Following graduation, Samuel took on a pivotal role during the COVID‑19 pandemic in Oregon, he coordinated with the Oregon Health Authority during an emergency response through his work with a travel-nursing agency. In this high-pressure capacity, he managed logistics, supported frontline workers, and collaborated closely with state and local health officials to ensure swift resource deployment and efficient patient care. His efforts directly contributed to improved response times and better outcomes during a critical public health emergency.

Building on that experience, Samuel transitioned to the agency’s internal business development team. In this role, he leveraged his operational insights and crisis-management experience to cultivate client relationships, develop service partnerships, and drive growth across multiple regions.

Never one to settle, Samuel later earned a Paralegal Certificate from the Community College of Denver. Through this rigorous program, he gained expertise in legal research, procedural documentation, and case management. He is now proficient in drafting briefs, conducting statutory analysis, and supporting attorneys in complex civil and administrative cases.

Samuel’s journey—Eagle Scout, political science scholar, COVID‑19 coordinator, business development professional, and trained paralegal—reflects a versatile skill set rooted in leadership, public service, and strategic thinking. He is passionate about leveraging these diverse experiences to pursue meaningful work in our law firm.
