Colorado Property Development Legal Services
Colorado is seeing a property development boom; as many of the larger cities in the state undergo urban renewal and redevelopment, so also comes the need to reassess land use, development, and zoning. Legal issues related to land use, construction, and development are complex, and the laws are subject to change. At Volpe Law LLC, as experienced land development attorneys, we’ve offered advice and insight to commercial property owners, developers, and investors. Our Colorado property development legal services are comprehensive and cover the needs of multi-owner partnerships, growth-stage developers, and real estate investors. Contact us today to discuss your legal needs.
Colorado Property Development Legal Services
Today’s property developers need more than just a one-size-fits-all approach to legal representation. Land development and land use matters, and the legal challenges vary wildly between jurisdictions; different cities have wildly different approaches to simple land transactions, mixed-use development, and commercial rezoning purposes. Our Colorado property development legal services go far beyond the courtroom. We consider ourselves your strategic partner, advising you not just on your immediate matter but also providing context and foresight into legal issues that may crop up months or years later. Proper, proactive planning and contract drafting can help avoid many problems later.
We begin by assessing your legal needs and having a detailed conversation with you (and your investors or business partners, as appropriate) about your project goals, including future projects. As experienced commercial litigators and real estate attorneys, we appreciate that the needs of an emerging, local developer differ from those of international real estate investors and non-real estate companies possessing real property to support their operations. You’ll receive advice tailored to your enterprise and needs, with an appreciation of your unique challenges.
We’ve found that a proactive approach often avoids the need for reactive legal action; we work with your architect to anticipate problems with local government, property sellers, and environmental protection organizations, reducing the chance of litigation or challenges once you’ve already broken ground on your project. Our approach includes helping clients build cordial and effective working relationships with local government agencies, including city councils and zoning boards.

Experienced real estate development attorneys, like we at Volpe Law, LLC, understand how to advance a property developer’s desired use of a piece of property and the details of local and state land use regulations.
