Arbitration Lawyer Centennial, CO
Arbitration is a popular alternative dispute resolution method, used by many businesspeople in lieu of civil litigation. It’s common in many business contracts, as it allows both parties more freedom to resolve the dispute and avoids costly and time-consuming litigation. In other cases, the parties involved in a business dispute may opt to attend arbitration instead of filing a civil suit. Or, a judge may order both parties to arbitration before scheduling a trial date.
Regardless of how you arrived at arbitration to settle the dispute, the process afterward is the same. Each party has the right to legal counsel in the proceedings, and we encourage you to use it. While the rules of arbitration are less strict than those in a civil trial, there are still protocols you must follow and certain rules of evidence that each party must comply with. We take the lead on resolving your matter in arbitration, building a strong, evidence-based case for your position, and crafting strong arguments to overcome evidence presented by the other side.
Arbitration offers many benefits, including privacy and reduced costs. The rules of evidence are more relaxed than in a courtroom, so you may be able to present pieces of evidence and testimony that otherwise would be inadmissible. As your Centennial arbitration lawyer, we fight for your best interests in the process.
