Franchise Lawyer Castle Rock, CO
For many Colorado entrepreneurs, franchising their business model is the next logical step for growth. Franchises can allow your brand to expand to new markets with minimal financial risk. However, before offering initial franchise opportunities, there are several legal matters to consider, as well as operational ones, such as creating detailed and complete operating manuals, brand standards, and operating contracts. Our Castle Rock, CO franchise lawyer can advise brand owners like you on the steps to take before accepting applications for franchise operators.
You’ll also need several types of contracts set up for your franchisees, including operating and investment agreements and protections for your trade secrets and intellectual property. Our legal team handles all the required drafting and negotiation of terms for your operating contracts, ensuring that your interests are protected and the agreement meets your goals. This includes working with your business’s current vendors and suppliers to ensure they can meet an increase demand for supplies and services as you open more franchises.
We also represent potential franchisees, explaining your responsibilities as a franchise owner and reviewing proposed franchise agreements to determine if it’s a smart move for your financial goals. As your legal advocate, we can renegotiate contracts presented by the franchisor for more favorable terms, giving you more working capital to make your new franchise a success.
When disputes arise, count on our legal team to protect your rights and advocate for your interests. We can initiate legal action on your behalf, whether you are the franchisor or franchisee, negotiate a fair settlement in mediation, or represent you in arbitration, if your franchise agreement has an arbitration clause.
